We have visits here from members of another taxi forum, who won't sign our online petition. They are going back to their own forum saying. Spook, I have a great idea. What about an online petition as if spook has never visited ours. Boys thats childish.. If you put up a petition I will sign it. You see I don't give a fuck about this forum, only about providing for my family. This mentality of "beyond the Pale" is crippling our Industry. My photo is not on this site because its our struggle, not an effort to get attention. Folks you ever hear of that saying " Devide and Conquer" Well thats what your doing. If your loyalty is to a forum and not your job and family, no wonder we fucked............

I didn't sign the petition because I feel they are a waste of time, having set one up in the past and not receiving any response whatever from the department.
The petition suggested by the forum member (whose name is not in your member list) is to ask for the resignation/ sacking of the regulator, a different request entirely to the proposal in your petition.
I'll let spook answer for himself, but I assume the photo remark is aimed at me so I'll offer an explanation (why, I'm not sure)
My site is a blog, a personal web log, it's my site with my opinions and I make no excuses for that, that's why I had my picture on it, it's purely coincidental that I removed it and replaced it with the "industry" video.
Hubcap, whose forum you advertise here, reported me to my server hosts for "stealing" the "industry" video after he removed it from google
How's that for dividing and conquering?
I visit your forum as a guest regularly and enjoy most of the content and I congratulate you on your persistence with it.
I do believe however, that too many taxi fora, competing with each other can only further diminish our voice and did resent your attempt at poaching the "other" forum's members with a mass e-mail
but that's another story................

Well Roy in fact the pictures I referred to were celebrity taxi drivers on an internation stage that make a killing on radio. Gabby cabby and so on, but not signing a petition for the reasons you stated do seem ridicolous. We have to try and try again.

Yes, but as you know taxi drivers say the same about protests, One person protesting certainly is a waiste of time but 27,000 can change the opinion of the government , just like a petition. heard all kind of excuses for not protesting, tired of hearing reasons why we should not do things

Our sites are shit but our content is ok for you to use and post on your own sites/blogs?
Roy you are a leech you would banned off any other forum for doing what you did.
You used the video for your own gain more hits to your blog and not for the industry.
You were not happy with stealing the video you removed the title and credits.
You need to get your facts right before you spout off about who reported who.
All I can say is you should hold your head in shame for what you did and i for one have no respect for you as a man or blogger.
The video clip is not important to me but for a bunch of union haters like you and your fan club you were sure glad to use the video.

too long in the tooth now. Dublin never did a thing for rural ireland. We got all the lads here to join the Ntdu about 7 years ago. First time we asked for help. they told us to collect money between the drives. What the fuck were we paying them for. Expensive insurance.
